Reginald stopped pacing the room (much to the happiness of the others) and immediatly looked up to find the midwife.
"Your wife and child are fine and healthy," the midwife continued. "Alice has requested to see you first." She turned to the couple's friends, adding, "You'll see the baby, too. Alice just wants to be with her husband alone for a little while first."
The couple's friends merely nodded or murmured their understanding. As the midwife gestured for Reg to follow her, he decided to leave his famous large hat and bright orange coat with Ears. He reasoned that he didn't want to

It was that time of day again - Reginald's lunch hour. As expected, Reg came by the bookstore, mainly to gawk at (and annoy) Alice.
"Bonjour, mes cheries!" Reginald greeted, in his usual boisterous manner. He immediately ran over to Alice, who resided behind the counter and wore a lackluster expression. "Ah, Alice, tu es tres, tres jolie aujourd'hui!"
Alice stared at him, puzzled. "Um... what?"
Belle gave a slight chuckle. "He said, 'You are very, very pretty today,'" she informed her friend.
